We use the following materials in the production of bottoms and heads :
After shaping the crown through dishing, the bottom or head is given its final shape by flanging the knuckle radius. During this process, the material is formed between a forming and pressure roller such that the bottom or head exhibits a straight flange at the point of connection with the vessel shell.
Forming bottoms and heads at our Bad Laasphe factory takes place through spin forming on hydraulic spinning lathes. During this process the sized round blank is given a predefined shape by a tool. This process is carried out whilst the blank is subjected to constant rotational movement.
We can provide various surface treatment for tank head
1. for carbon steel , bare and sandblasting are avaible
2.for stainless steel , acid washing and mirror polished are avaible
